Creation – A Polynesian Journey is Sheraton’s newest Polynesian dinner and cocktail show in Waikiki.

This unique and exciting new production takes you on a spectacular journey like no other. With the use of the latest laser tech lighting, pyrotechnics, and a new digital sound system, the Ainahau Showroom takes guests to a magical place in Polynesia’s past. From the mystery of their creation, through their voyages of the Pacific, Tihati Productions incorporates Hawaii’s premier entertainers, lavishcostumes, spellbinding drama and illusions that leave one awe struck and wanting for more.

Magic fills the air as the journey continues through the Marquesas Islands and the delicate princess Titikua vanishes into thin air. In Samoa, the hearty laughter of celebration is topped with a spectacular fire knife dance.

Available five nights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Children under 5 years of age are complimentary when accompanied by an adult paying the full dinner price.

Ali’i Dinner includes preferred seating, flower lei greeting, two beverages of your choice, filet mignon, lobster and much more.  A special show souvenir is also included.

Standard Dinner includes a lavish buffet selection featuring carved prime rib, baked chicken, sauteed Mahimahi and other hot entrees, an assortment of Maki sushi, pasta salad, tossed greens, fresh fruits and a dessert bar. A tropical Mai tai cocktail or choice of soda, draft beer, coffee or tea is included in the dinner price.

The cocktail show offers a choice of two standard drinks or one exotic cocktail.

• Non-Flying Observer – For those who are not interested in parasailing but would like to accompany friends or family.

The Boats
X-treme Parasail operates two custom parasail boats with all the latest safety features. The vessel is operated by USCG licensed captains and crew and carries 1,200 feet of line enabling them to offer you a wide variety of rides. They have two boats each able to carry twelve passengers each.

All rides includes roundtrip Waikiki transportation.

The Magic of Polynesia Showroom is located at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, in the heart of Waikiki on Kalakaua Avenue. The Las Vegas style tiered seating provides audiences with optimum viewing pleasure. The Magic of Polynesia is a major stage production combining the panache of Las Vegas and the soul of Polynesian song and dance with the mystifying illusions of internationally acclaimed illusionists, John Hirokawa or Michael Villoria. A myriad of contrasting and spellbinding illusions come to life against a Polynesian landscape backdrop with an original musical score and cultural dances of Hawaii and Polynesia.

John Hirokawa, the flamboyant master of ceremonies for the hit show “Magic of Polynesia,” is a self-described fitness fanatic who is uncompromising when it comes to his health. This 35-year-old father of three keeps himself in shape not just by exercising regularly and eating right, but by performing; his show requires him to run, jump, climb, and bend on a regular basis, not to mention glide down a 35-foot wire from ceiling to stage.

After obtaining a business administration degree from University of Hawai’i at Manoa, Hirokawa set out to make it big in showbiz – and succeeded spectacularly. These days, he can be found headlining at a 700-seat, $7.5 million showroom at the lush Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. It took a lot of hard work to get to the top, but he doesn’t regret a minute of it. As he points out, “Life is really short. We should strive to make the most of it; live it to the fullest.”
